The NUJ is running a major national campaign to protect quality journalism and its vital role in our democracy.

Savage cutbacks across most sectors – newspapers, broadcasting, books and magazines - are seriously threatening quality and damaging our profession.

We are determined to do all we can to reverse this and ensure proper investment in our industry. An important part of this is making sure that the public, MPs and opinion formers know these cuts are being made in the face of huge profits.
